Walking the Cow:
In my 7th grand tech ed. class, Coach Huddleston, the teacher, would show us this video. I just found it and thought I’d share.
Even when I knew what was coming, I still jumped. Man, that was a great class.
LET’S CALL IT THE FLAT DUO JETS!
James emailed me this earlier today.
…but this is one of the best examples of rock ‘n’ roll…ever.
footnote: the drummer acting crazy does not drink. i know this for a fact.
Oh what I would do if I could hack into Chuck E. Cheese automated singing robot animals! I highly recommend watching the whole video.
I fell for it…
From Apollo Up!’s myspace:
“Rumors of our demise (even the ones that we started) have been . . . moderately exaggerated. Our new record, Walking Papers will be released by our old friends at Grand Palace on May 27th, and we will celebrate (a little late, admittedly) with a CD release party at the Basement on June 20th. A few other regional dates will follow, and then that’s it for the foreseeable future. So, you know, save the date.
More soon!”
From Apollo Up!’s myspace:
“Hey, Mike here. I have some bad news for everyone. In light of recent events, we regret to announce the dissolution of Apollo Up!. It’s been a great 5 years, and we wish it could have ended on a brighter note, but we don’t always get what we want.

The Raconteurs are happy to announce that in one week’s time their second album, entitled “Consolers Of The Lonelyâ€, will be available EVERYWHERE Tuesday, March 25th.
“Album†meaning: full length vinyl, CD and digital formats; and “everywhere†meaning: local mom and pop Indie retailers, corporate superstores, supermarkets, iTunes, Amazon, the band’s own website and any other location that could get the record up and going this quickly (some places couldn’t move this fast, so they will join in as soon as they can).
It contains 14 new recordings and is being released globally on Third Man Records in conjunction with our marketing/distribution partners, XL Recordings and Warner Brothers Records.
Most of you already know about this stuff, but this is a great hands-on explanation that anyone can understand.
